Rights Media (www.rightsmedia.in) is a premier non-profit digital news platform operated under the aegis of the Rights Media Society (Regd. No. 269/2026 under the Telangana Societies Registration Act, 2001). Headquartered in Hanamkonda, Telangana, our news portal was officially launched on August 15, 2026, with a firm commitment to restoring public trust in journalism through unbiased, ethical, and service-oriented news reporting.

In an era dominated by commercialized media, corporate agendas, and sensationalism, Rights Media stands apart as a beacon of independent journalism. We do not operate for profit, nor do we compromise our reporting for commercial or political motives. Our sole loyalty remains with the truth, the public interest, and the constitutional rights of every citizen.

Combating Misinformation: To establish a dedicated research and fact-checking framework to eliminate fake news and present verifiable facts to the public.

Utilizing the RTI Act: To actively leverage the Right to Information (RTI) Act to investigate government records, track public spending, and promote administrative transparency.

Voice for the Unheard: To provide a dignified platform for victims of crime, socio-economic discrimination, and administrative neglect.

Solution-Oriented Impact: Beyond merely reporting grievances, we collaborate with legal experts, government authorities, and civil society organizations to follow up on stories until justice is delivered.

100% Non-Profit & Independent: We are governed strictly by the bylaws of the Rights Media Society. Our journalist recruitment is 100% free of registration charges, and our reporters operate without commercial target pressures, ensuring complete freedom of press.

Integrated Legal Aid & Rehabilitation Cell: Through our dedicated Legal Aid Wing, we partner with pro-bono advocate networks to provide free or subsidized legal consultation to impoverished victims and marginalized communities who suffer from constitutional or human rights violations.

Trained & Ethical Volunteer Journalist Network: Our digital reporters undergo rigorous two-day professional training workshops on Digital Journalism, Fact-Checking, Mobile Journalism (MoJo), Media Ethics, and Cyber Laws before hitting the ground, ensuring high journalistic integrity and responsibility.

Journalist Welfare First: We believe that protecting journalists is essential to protecting truth. Rights Media Society provides digital tools, legal backing, and complimentary Accidental Insurance coverage to our active volunteer journalists.
